There’s plenty of opportunities for you to be a volunteer a Al Ansar. Our volunteers are in the heart of the organization and they are very much appreciated.
Urgent! Ramadan Teams NEED your help:
First, read below and decide which team you want to be a part of. Every team needs some kind and capable people, please. Be a part of one or several teams.
Second, sign up today by filling out the Volunteer Sign-up Form located further down.
| Team Name | Main Duties | Suggestions |
| Iftar Management Team | Make sure Iftar items are in stock. Be in charge of serving Iftar (not the dinner). | Iftar will be primarily with dates and healthy fruits, light snacks, water and other drinks. |
| Dinner Ordering Team | Decide where to order dinner from. Place the order, pickup from there or have them delivered (you are not paying for the dinner) | We prefer having diversity in our menu. Be creative in choosing where to order from. |
| Dinner Serving Team | Responsible for serving dinner in a creative and efficient way. Will serve fast, without waste and in equitable proportion. | Have creative ideas. Perhaps box-up food or serve items to attendees. Prevent abuse or waste. |
| Dinner clean-up team | Clean-up quickly after dinner so the Musallah is ready for prayer. Superbly important. If no one helps cleanup, we can’t function. | |
| Facility Management | Crowd control, security, implement the rules of the institution. Ordering general supplies like table cover, plastic ware, cleaning agents… | |
